The meaning of this name means beautiful, pretty, amazing in the Oromoo language. Turns out, most Ethiopian people don’t use this name anymore- It would be like naming your kid Agnes in the English language, or Genevieve. It’s too old. But now, many Oromoo parents are trying to bring this name back.

You are very right! Solane is a retro Ancient Oromo name that not a lot of parents use. It’s very underrated though!
