Sylvanus

Sylvanus Nimely is a Liberian professional footballer who plays as a forward for NK Solin and has also played for the Liberian national team.

Sylvanus Okello is a Kenyan former boxer. He competed in the men's light heavyweight event at the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Sylvanus Bowser (1854 – 1938) was an American inventor who is widely credited with inventing the automobile fuel pump. Bowser Avenue in his hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana is named after him.

Sylvanus Olympio (1902 – 1963) was a Togolese politician who served as prime minister, and then president, of Togo from 1958 until his assassination in 1963. He came from the well-known Olympio family, which included his uncle Octaviano Olympio, one of the richest people in Togo in the early 1900s.

Silvanus Bevan FRS (1691–8 June 1765) was an apothecary, who founded the London firm of Allen & Hanburys. He was born in Swansea Glamorgan Wales and died in Hackney London.
