In the symphony of names, Thalassa emerges as a sapphire-colored note, dancing on the shores of linguistic magic with a distinct Greek resonance. A name that ebbs and flows like the tide she personifies, Thalassa captures the emotional lament of the vast, secretive seas. It summons the whispers of the crisp, refreshing ocean breeze, carrying the tales of ancient mariners and the untold secrets in the indigo depths of the crashing waves.
Derived from Ancient Greek θᾰ́λᾰσσᾰ (thálassa) "sea; the Mediterranean Sea". In Greek mythology she was the primeval spirit or personification of the sea, born of Aether (light) and Hemera (day).https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalassa

I've always loved this mythological name and I'm glad to see that it's finally in the database! Although I don't know if it would work on a child. Maybe as a middle name it could work.
Thalassa is also the name of one of Neptune’s moons: https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/moons/neptune-moons/thalassa/in-depth/ [noted -ed]
