I had a calico kitten named Thumbelina! She was the smallest of the litter, very adventurous and once I found her sleeping in an old tea pot- she really lived up to her namesake! I gave her the nickname Thimble, which I thought was exceedingly clever of me lol. I love how this site includes names from popular literature, although there are always commenters who take it too literally and feel that they have to be ridiculously rude in order dissuade people from using a name when obviously no one was intending to use it on a baby in the first place. Having said that, this is a darling name for a pet, character, and maybe, just maybe, a middle name….
