Trajko (a version of the name Trajan) comes from the Macedonian verb "trae" meaning "to last"(lasting). A very old, traditional Macedonian name, popular in the 19th and early 20th century. It was given to children in families that had previously lost a child (or several children) to illness, in hope that the boy carrying the name would be the one who lives (lasts) a long life.
