I find it cute, elegant, refreshing, a bit exotic, and reminds me of blue sky, green grass, and paintings. Why would people feel a name like this bad or devious? LOL. Adèle is usable, so is it.

I had a great aunt named Valere (born around 1915). It was pronounced vuh-LEER. Because of that, I had assumed that this was a female's name, but on second glance, as I look at this entry, it does sound like a French male name, as listed. I like it either way. It sounds sophisticated.
