Cute name for a cat.
Vinko Coce was a Croatian opera and pop singer. Coce was born in Trogir, and joined the klapa Trogir in 1972. Between 1983 and 1988, he was a tenor in the mixed choir of the Croatian National Theatre in Split. He started a solo singing career in 1991, during which he won the Grand Prix at the Split Festival with the song "Sićaš li se, Lungomare". He also won a Porin with the klapa Trogir.
Since Vinko is the normal (i.e. not short) Croatian and Slovenian form of Vincent, it's odd that only short forms in other languages are visible beneath tha main discription. The opposite is also true: if viewing for example Vincent itself, no Croatian form is to be found below even while Vinko IS listed as one of the Slovene forms. [noted -ed]
Vinka is the feminine form. [noted -ed]
In Croatian, one of Donald Duck's nephews is Vinko. The other two are Hinko and Dinko.
In Croatia, VICKO (pronounced VEETS-kaw, short) is a variant of this name, influenced by the Italian form Vincenzo.
Also a masculine name in Slovenia. [noted -ed]
