It is found in the Qur'anic phrase "siraj wahhaj" (glowing lamp) which is also found as a compound name.Possibly related to Arabic hajj , "pilgrimage" , which is used in English as the word for the pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which is one of the Five Pilars of Islam.
