I named my first daughter Zebadiah because I saw it in Webster dictionary and the meaning is gift of god and I knew that it was a masculine name. I gave it to her as well because I prayed that no matter what the gender of my child I will name it Zebadiah because it's a blessings from above. My daughter is a god fearing person and kind.

Zebadiah "Zeb" Hugson is a character from the Oz books. He is a distant cousin of Dorothy Gale who accompanies her to Oz in the fourth Oz book, Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz.

I, interestingly, have a friend called Zebadiah. He's not religious either, it's a just a really nice name that actually suits him really well. He goes by Zeb but quite likes his full name as well because it sounds grand and elegant.
