Description: At the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble, she placed third (and thus won the bronze medal) at the women's 1500 metres speed skating competition as well as the women's 3000 metres speed skating competition. At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, she was the winner of the women's 3000 metres speed skating competition. She placed second (and thus won the silver medal) at the women's 1500 metres speed skating competition, also at the same Winter Olympics.
