Nice combo, but not my style.

I absolutely ADORE Cecily! Jean Cecily is one of my favourite combos, but it goes with just about anything.Unfortunately, I will probably never use it as the meaning ("blind") bothers me.

Neat combo, I like it.

I knew a Cecily in middle school. She was kind of out there, a different girl but a whole lot of fun. I don't really like the name its not my style.

Bianca Cecily is nicer.
Neither name is my style.
I think of Blanca (like Casablanca. because they both have the same meaning) and Sicily (the place).-Seda*

I've never really thought about connotations!

Cecily has been growing on me although I still prefer Cecilia. The meaning blind doesn't bother me too much. There's much worse things than being blind.Cecily Rose
Cecily Fiona
Cecily Amaryllis
Cecily Claudette
Cecily Virginia

I love Cecily Rose, as I mentioned in my response to raindancing's post. Cecily Fiona is interesting, and Amaryllis is cute, although I'm afraid it will be as unusual as Chrysanthemum. (Have you ever read that book? It's for Kindergarteners, but it's still really good, lol.)

Cecily Rose stood out the most for me- Rose is my grandmothers name so when she dies I'll probably use it. Cecily Theresa is cute, although I prefer to spell it Teresa. Thanks for your help!

I LOVE Cecily. It is one of my top four or five names right now.
A combo that I really like is Cecily Bryce (and this is weird because I don't really like the name Bryce in any other context).

I don't care for Bryce, and I can't use it anyways, but thank you. I find it odd how one person can have such a solid idea of what names go with other names, and then you run into a person who thinks exactly opposite.

I don't care for the name, or Bianca. But, I think Bianca Cecily flows better.

Cecily used to be my #1, and is still firmly entrenched in my top 5....I think it's very girly, it's not even in the top 1000 (a plus, for me), the only negative is the meaning - "blind". My only comment about Cecily Bianca is that the names are almost too interesting together....they both have a lot of "personality" and it is kind of difficult to say them together...I like:
Cecily Maeve
Cecily Caroline
Cecily Elisabeth
Cecily Jane

I do know about the drawback of it meaning "blind." However, meaning doesn't matter much to me. I see what you mean about them being too interesting together, although I don't think they are too personality-ish, so maybe it's just me. I especially like Cecily Elisabeth, but I can't use any names related to Elizabeth because that's my sister's mn. Maeve is way too Irish for me, although I love it. I don't care for Caroline, although Cecily Jane is a possibility. It's slightly too feminine for me.Anyways, thanks for the input!
