[Opinions] Mona
What do you think? I think it's one of those names you either love or hate.

I don't love or hate it. It's just OK. But I do like Ramona better.

I have to be difficult here and say I neither love nor hate it ;-)I'd like to see it on someone else's child, because it's different from all the Sophie's and Emma's I am sick of, but it still doesn't appeal to me. It's just the word 'moan' with an A on the end.ETA: I do like Ramona and I suppose Mona could be short for it - though personally I would't want to shorten it.

I used to not like it, but my best friend's little sister's name is Mona, so now it's grown on me and I think it's cute by association

I love the name Mona. I have no idea why, but when I was 8 or 9 I fell in love with it. But I wouldn't use it because of the reasons previously mentioned. =/

Well, I hate it. I just can't get the word "moan" out of my head. It doesn't sound very pleasant...honestly, I think it's so ugly. Plus, I knew a very vulgar girl named this so that doesn't help. =/

I know one!Haha, it surprises me, but I just met one in Sept. A good friend's sister's roommate. Anyway, she is probably 19ish, and from California. I didnt like it at first, especially not as a full name, but I dont hate it any more. Part of it could be because of her, but I still think its a little short for a full name.

Yes sorry I am in the dislike basket too. It is the sound of 'moan' in it that puts me off.
