Isabella! Claudia is clunky, ugly and just hideous IMO. Isabella is popular, but a gorgeous name. I really can't stand Claudia.

Isabella is frilly to me and very trendy right now. I much prefer Isabel, but it's also too popular for me, unfortunately (though not as much so as Isabella). I like Claudia, and I think it's pretty but I dislike the meaning. :(

Claudia. It has more substance to it, and it's not overused.

I really love Isabella, but because it has become so popular so suddenly, I fear it could become dated. Besides, a child may not want a name that she'll have to share with lots of other girls in her age cohort. The less used Claudia is probably the better choice. Claudia is definitely lovely.

Isabella is pretty. At first I didn't like it, but I love it now. It's very popular though. The nn Bella is gorgeous.Claudia is not really my style. It's ok for someone else's kid, but I wouldn't use it.

Claudia, totally!Isabella's pretty and all, but it's so popular and annoying lately. I love Claudia, and I think it seems a lot less pretentious as well.

Claudia!I love it. I think it's lovely and unusual, though the meaning is a bit of a let down :-( Isabella is very pretty, but so damn common nowadays, it puts me off a little bit.

Claudia by a mile. Isabella is so, so, so trendy.

Claudia.Although I do really like Isabella, it is so, so popular at the moment. Maybe someday it will settle down, but right now- I wouldn't really advise using it as a fn.Claudia, on the other hand, is not only beautiful and spunky, but very underused.

I like Claudia over Isabella only because Isabella is so popular. Neither one is one of my favorite names, but they are both quite nice.

Claudia by far!Isabella is very pretty but I am so incredibly bored of it. Clauida is much more unusual and much nicer, although the mening isn't great. This rules it out for me as meanings are v. important to me, but I think its great on someone elses kid!Claudia all the way. Please, please no more Isabella's in the world!

I don't really like either of them. Claudia is okay though. I do prefer it over Isabella.

Claudia!Isabella is so so so overdone. It's pretty enough, but I find -bell/a names too frilly anyway. Claudia, on the other hand, is feminine, spunky, underused, and lovely.

I hate Isabella. I don't know why, just do. But I LOVE Claudia.

Both names are very pretty, but Isabella is too popular IMO, so I'd favor Claudia.

I think that Isabella is very beautiful, and I am not so fond of Claudia. The only downside to Isabella is that it seems that every other baby girl is given that name right now...
