[Opinions] Evie???
What do you think of Evie for a full first name?? I have currently been liking short and sweet names. I like Eva and Ella but I would have used the nn Evie. But then I thought about Evie for a full first name. I saw on the BtN database a lot of people liked the name Evie as a full name. I wanted your opinions on it :) Thanks1. What do you think of the name Evie?2. Which middle name do you like better?
Evie Lynn
Evie Rosalynn ???

I like Evie Lynn better, but I definitely don't think Evie has enough substance to stand on it's own. I personally would much prefer Eva or Evelyn, nn Evie.

I like Evie as a nn for Evelyn or Genevieve.

I just don't see it as a formal full name at all. Like Chrissy or Janie, just way too nickname-y for me. I love Evie (EE-vee, though I have a friend named Evelyn nn Evie who prn. it EV-vee) but only as a nn for Eve, Eva, Evelyn, Genevieve, etc.

Being from the generation that was once obsessed with Pokemon, it reminds me too much of Eevee. He was an adorable little guy though: http://cover6.cduniverse.com/MuzeVideoArt/59/779459.jpg
You are pronouncing it EE-vee, right?2. Which middle name do you like better?
Evie Lynn

I don't really like it because it's so trendy here (England) right now. I prefer Eva

I think it's a sweet name, but I would prefer it as a nickname for something, just to give more options. What about Evanne (Evan), Evelyn, Evangiline, or even Edith. I like Evie Rosalynn to give a little more substance. Evie Lynn is just too short and sweet for my tastes.

Well *I* like it :-Dbut I prefer this spelling, of course.Evie Rosalynn DEFINITELY, because Evie Lynn sounds like a mock-up of Evelyn. I really like Rosalynn with it, I also like Evie Linden.

I'm not crazy about it, even as a nn, but as a fuill name it is way too childish, it would never age well past about kindergarten. It's like Allie or Katie, I just can't take it seriously. Also, and this is silly, the sound of it reminds me of Rachel Ray the TV chef (aka the Human Pomeranian, or Cooking on Crystal Meth) this very hyperactive woman who is always talking about EVOO, or extra virgin olive oil. She pronounces it EE Vee Oh Oh, and for some reason it annoys the heck out of me.Eva is so pretty, and it's the ame syllables as Evie. Eva Lynn is cute, although it does invite "evil" jokes. Eva Rosalynn is pretty too.

Definitely NMS, but I don't generally like nicknames as full names and don't care much for Eve/Eva.Your current favorite boy name is Avery, right? I like that a lot.

Yes :) my current favorite boy name is Avery. I do tend to change my mind when it comes to names. I change them alot. I always still like the names but I change their rank on my top 5 list :) But I am glad to hear that you do like Avery :)
