Megan is starting to grow on me. Megan is a little dated, but I still like the way it sounds. I really like M names like Emma, Emmaline, Emily, and Miriam to a degree.

Margaret is just more flexible. Not only is Megan overdone, she might prefer the nns Maggie, Meg, Greta, Daisy, Peggy, or whatever. I agree that Megan is cute to some degree, but I'd rather see a Margaret :)

In my case, though I doubt I'd ever use it, I couldn't use the name Margaret. I could, however, use Megan or Daisy or something. And couldn't meg be a nn for Megan?

I don't really like the sound of Megan and I definitely prefer Margaret. Megan just looks and sounds a bit weird to me because my sister's name is Meigan prn. Mee-gan. I've said and heard that name so much that I can't seem to really warm to Megan.

I know Meigan is probably made up and Megan is legit but that's just how I feel about it.

I know a Megan - this name could never bore me

I know a Megan who is one of the most captivating and interesting people I've ever known. There are so many boring names out there, and Megan is not one of them. I like it, especially if there is an unusual mn to go with it.

My Border Collie's name is Megan. I love this name. It works for either a girly girl or a sporty girl. Plus Maggie and Meg are both adorable nn and wear well for adults and children.

Emma, Emmeline, and Emily are also some of my favorites. You have good taste in names.

Megan is okay but I prefer Margaret myself, I know several girls of varying ages with this name its not at all dated where I live
