I don't care for flower names. It's mainly because we tend to name our animals flowery names.Iris Lily - Too flowery
Iris Amelia - I like it, Amelia is beautiful
Iris Gabriella - The flow seems to be off, possibly Iris Gabrielle (?)
Iris May - Too cutesy
Iris Rose - Too flowery
Iris Elizabeth - Pretty
Iris Violet - Dislike Violet
Iris Grace - Pretty, although Grace has unfortunatly become a "filler" name
Iris Katherine - Like it, prefer Katharine
Iris Penelope - Dislike it a lot
Iris Augustine - I don't think the names go well together
Iris Winter - Winter is just a season to me, not a name
Iris Autumn - I love Autumn! Kinda funny since I just said Winter is a season not a name, lol. I think it's because where I live we say Fall rather than Autumn. Anyways, I'm not sure if I like these two together.I like Iris Amelia, Iris Elizabeth, Iris Grace, and Iris Katherine / Katharine the best!

Iris is lovely, I agree.Iris Lily and Iris Rose are too floral, though. Plus Iris Rose is too "r" heavy. Iris Winter and Iris Autumn are too noun-y for my taste. Plus putting a name of a flower together with a time of year has too much of a gardening influence. The overall effect overshadows the name. But you have some other great combinations, Iris Katherine, Iris Elizabeth and Iris Penelope being my favorites. My favorite combination personally is either Iris Persephone (for the quirky Greek effect) or Iris Matilda (for the sweet, nostalgic effect.) Others you might like:Iris Callista / Callisto
Iris Miranda
Iris Isidora (Iris is adorable, isn't she?)(initials I.I. would be neat)
Iris Caroline
Iris Valerie
Iris Miriam
Iris Catriona / Cathleen
Iris Vivien
Iris Madeleine
Iris Calliope

I love Iris, too. I think it's probably the most user-friendly flower name right now: it's uncommon and the long I-sound is very appealing.Iris Lily- The flow is nice, but the combo is too flowery. Iris Amelia- Very nice.Iris Gabriella- Nice.Iris May- Sounds a bit too choppy.Iris Rose- too flowery plus the combo sounds too abrupt. Iris Elizabeth- Blah. Elizabeth, along with Rose, should retired from the middle name spot for a few generations.Iris Violet- Too flowery.Iris Grace- Ditto what I said about Elizabeth and Rose, plus both names ending with the same 'S' sound isn't very flattering.Iris Katherine- Meh, it's ok, but not terribly exciting. I have a feeling that in the near future, Katherine is going to become a filler middle name along with Elizabeth, Rose and Grace.Iris Penelope- This is probably the most interesting combo on the list. Both names complement each other well, plus Penelope is an exciting name.Iris Augustine- I like this one, too. Because of the '-tine- ending, I've always viewed this names as being rather feminine, but there's St. Augustine...Iris Winter- I don't happen to like Winter as a name, but in the middle name spot I think it's fine.Iris Autumn- It doesn't have the most flattering sound, plus it's awkward to say.

I have to say, I ADORE almost ALL of these combos! You and I have the same exact taste, obviously. :)Iris Lily is beautiful. I love it.Iris Amelia is cute, but it doesn't roll off the tongue too well.Iris Gabriella is cute, but i prefer Iris GabrielleIris May is beautiful!Iris Rose is goregous!! It's not too flowery at all!!!!! :)Iris Elizabeth; I've never liked the name Elizabeth, way 2 common for my taste, but i have to admit this is really pretty.Iris Violet is beautiful; 2 of my all time favorite names!!!Iris Grace- again, I've never liked the name Grace, but this is really nice together.Iris Katherine- it doesn't sound too bad, i've never liked the name Katherine.Iris Penelope; I love the name Penelope!!!! but i'm not too sure if these 2 names sound right together...Iris Augustine- beautiful!!!Iris Winter- love love love it!!!!Iris Autumn- again, beautiful! My Favorites out of all of these are probably- Iris Lily, Iris Rose, Iris Violet, Iris Penelope, and Iris Winter.Good luck and God bless!!!!V
