[Opinions] Re: Everett (and Ulysses)
in reply to a message by Cat
1. I don't see Everett as hillbilly. It is one of the few surnames I can stand (but wouldn't use) as a fn.
2. I would have thought you'd like something more classic, but I think it could work.
3. Ev, Evs, Evan.
4. I think it suits the mn position better.
Everett Michael
Everett George
Everett Miles
Everett Leo
Everett Luke / Luka
Everett Marcus
5.I don't think Ulysses is usable. Not as a fn anyway.

Ah..surname...I usually wouldn't use a surname as a fn, but this one skirts through since it was a first name made into a surname then back into a first name.I like:
Everett Michael
Everett George
Everett LukeThanks!

Up until recently I might have agreed that Ulysses isn't usable as a first name, but there is a supervisor where I work with the name. Ulysses is what he is called, no nicknames, no one seems to think it's strange, or have problems saying it, and I think it's great. So I have to disagree, and say Ulysses is totally usable.
