[Opinions] Olympia
WDYT of this name? It's been growing on me (probably because I'm in love with the city.) Is it way too much? And do you have any combos? Olympia Violet is striking me at the mo.

I love it! I love the form Olympias as well but I think it's too much.No idea on combos. I don't care for Violet though. Too close to the word violent for me.

Olympia is only slightly too much, I think.IRL, I think it would be passable, but perhaps a bit strange. It might be one of those names that would be hard to pull off.It is gorgeous though, isn't it? Extremely strong, I think. And Olympia Violet is probably striking you because it's, well, a striking combo. It's glamorous, but only very slightly overbearing--just a little bit, and perhaps that's where its charm lies. ;-)

It reminds me of Olympia Dukakis. It's all right, but a bit too much for my taste. Violet is cute, though.

I recently became to like this name a lot. There is a US senator called Olympia Snow and this struck me as being a perfect combination :p I wonder if it makes me think of snow-capped mountains or something. I think Olympia needs a short name to go with it can take something a bit daring too. I think I have a Sim called Olympia.Olympia Clare
Olympia Beryl
Olympia ClaudeI came across Beryl in Gemmology class the other day and have been looking for a combo it would fit in with ever since. Is that Olympia in WA? I have a friend from there.

I love Olympia but I think I'm the only person on Earth that dislikes Violet. I really like Olympia Rose and Olympia Marie, but then, those are those popular filler names that a lot of people dislike.

I like Olympia but I don't like that combo

I think Olympia is a lovely name, I just can't see it on a little girl. For middle names I think something simpler would work nice. Olympia Pearl, Olympia Rose, Olympia Marie, Olympia Jane, Olympia Carmel.
