[Opinions] Alina
I am really liking this name lately. It has the same meaning as my name. WDYT? Do you prefer Alina, Aleena, or another spelling/variation. Is there another name you can recommend that may have a similar feeling/meaning/etc?Also wdyto Alina Vivian?
TIA!

I've always liked the name Alina, not sure why though. Alina Vivian sounds very nice indeed.

I like a lot of Al-names (Aliza, Alida, etc) but I don't like the -ina suffix so much.

I love Alina (this spelling or Elina. I hate Aleena). It's beautiful and very uncommon. Some similar names include Elena, Eliana, and Karina.Alina Vivian is gorgeous!

Eliana and Elina were actually the 2 E names that I loved but the initials would trouble me. Unless I can get DH to let me use Vivian/Viviana as a fn.

It sounds pretty, although I think that Elina looks nicer.

I love Alina, but my favorite female name at the moment is Elina. I fell in love with it.Alina Vivian is a lovely combo.

I adore Elina as well. I have a couple of E names that I really like right now but I'm trying to, I guess you can say, lose my love for them because then her initials would be EVL. That's too close to "evil" for me. LOL

Well, I quite like Alina. It sounds pretty and would age well, I think. I wouldn't use it, though, because where I live, it is incredibly popular.

I think it's pretty. But it sounds very Eastern European to me and I would expect an Alina to come from an Eastern European country. I don't really know why, maybe it's because I met lots of Alinas from there the name must be something like "Ashley" is in the US. Aleena is ugly, I would definitely go with Alina. Very pretty name.
