[Opinions] Elias and Elijah
I am starting to like Elias and Elijah. Which do you like the best? What do you think of them? Would they go good with a sibling named Levi?

I think both names are very handsome and I like them a lot. I do prefer Elijah out of the two though. Elijah and Levi would make an awesome sib set.

Holy sht, I was literally just about to post the same thread. You could lso include Elliott. But they are two of the greatest names which ever evolved. Elias is better, though.

I prefer Elijah overall, though Elias isn't bad. Both are ok with Levi.

I love Elias and Elijah too. They give off a pretty similar vibe which makes choosing a solid favorite difficult, although today I'll say that I'm leaning towards Elijah. That being said, I don't think either of them work particularly well with Levi in a sibset. It's the repeated Ls, Es, and long Is. Maybe save them for the mn slot?

I don't really like either of them, although I don't hate them. I like Elijah better, and I think it goes better with Levi too.Funny story, my nephew's name is Elijah, and my cousin's son's name is Elias. It's really annoying for a namenerd such as myself, since they're pretty much the same name.

I hate them both. I just think the sound is so incredibly unattractive. Elias is also one of the most overused names ever where I live, I just can't stand it anymore. Elias is a bit better than Elijah, in my opinion. Elijah does go better with Levi, though.

no kiddingElias is very common where you are? You're in Germany, right? Huh. I wouldn't have expected that. The popularity chart for Elias doesn't show its ranking in Germany.

On the chart I'm looking at right now it's on place 15 for 2008. I would have guessed it much higher, though, because I see it all the time on BAs. German charts don't seem to be in BTN at all.http://www.beliebte-vornamen.de/2008

NeatI like how all the different spellings of a name are grouped together as one entry. The American SSA listing isn't like that, which distorts the data, imo.

I've loved Elias for a very long time. Elijah not as long, nor as passionately. Elijah and Levi may come off to some as slightly more "matchy" than Elias and Levi, though I'm not one to care about that, especially since both will end up nn'd Eli. I think either works with Levi.
