Which name do you like better or would make you cringe less to hear? Thinking about the nn Ric (for both).

I like Emeric a little more, but feel Alaric would be easier to find a mn for. I really like Edmund (as a mn only) and have Alaric Edmund on an old list of combos.

I love both of them, but slightly prefer Alaric. Alaric Edmund is very nice.

I love both, though. Emeric a bit more.
I would probably call him 'Em' or 'Emer' occasionally.

I like Alaric more...

but Emeric is nice too. I just think Alaric is a bit more handsome. Alaric Edmund is amazing.

Definitely Emeric

Alaric is a fun, historic name that your ds wil love to read about. It has a very masculine sound and will wear well over time.

But my heart belongs to Emeric. The sound alone makes love to my ears. But beyond that it has a sophistication to it that I think will wear even better than Alaric. My only fear with Alaric is that it could sound a little cartoon hero-ish -- not for me, but for others. I don't have that fear with Emeric at all.

I like Alaric better

But both are good. I like Emeric a little less bc it makes me think of Eric and I don't like that.

I like Em- names on guys. And I think Emeric Edmund sounds nearly as nice as Alaric Edmund (that's one great combo!).

Alaric really annoys me because I don't really like the name to begin w/ and then it's also the name of this annoying guy I knew.

I think Emeric is kinda cute though
