Honestly, I really love them both! Gabrielle does have more nicknames if that matters.

I know. I really don't like the nicknames for Gabrielle but I love the name. Did you know any Paige's? Were they picked on because of a page. Do you know any Gabrielle's? What nicknames do they use. Any other suggestions for uncommon names with limited or no nicknames

I like Gabrielle better. Paige always reminds me of "Charmed" (which definitely is NOT good!)...!

Ugh, no...! Actually I hate it. Sorry, I don't want to offend anybody, but it is one of the most stupid tv-series ever, not to mention "Sex and the City" and all those crap like that...! *eek*

warning: this is way off topic.
I'm not offended at all. I don't even watch it anymore. My mom and I went through a Charmed phase, and most of the time we pointed out continuity errors and lame plotlines. Our favorite thing to say was, "We're making it up as we go along!" and other variants of that. I only really watched it for Holly Marie Combs. She's pretty. And I can't stand Sex and the City. The characters are so whiny! Charlotte was the one character I could stand, and that was in small doses.
The worst was when they had a Charmed episode that was basically Phoebe pretending she was in Sex and the City. They did the narration and everything, and Phoebe kept saying "I wonder what the main character of Sex and the City would do..." That was when I could take no more and stopped watching it.
And just to make this atleast a little on topic:
I really like the name Myrtle. It's one of those things that grows on you, I think. However, I think I may be the only person in the world who thinks Beulah is a lovely name. Oh, and one of my favorite teachers is named Paige (surname, I mean). If I was going to name a child that, it would be in his honor.
