[Opinions] Morgana
The name Morgana is really growing on me, despite it being a name of the main baddie in the Tv series Merlin. Anyway, what do you think of Morgana for a baby girl?

I like it! Morgana is lush, feminine, and really stands out next to the common Morgan, but has the same smooth, silvery feel. Maybe it does sound a touch sinister by its assocations, but I don't believe it's negative enough to matter.

A friend of mine has Morgana bookmarked for a future daughter. I think it's pretty wicked. I guess if little Morgana doesn't want to be so intense, she can always lop off the extra a and use Morgan to get along more quietly in life.Actually I rather like that it's a "baddie" name. I have a crush on femme fatale characters of all kinds. Oh man wouldn't it be neat to see a sister set of Morgan, Lili and Belle only to find out that their real names were Morgana, Lilith and Jezebel? I love that sort of trickery!

It's such a dark name. I have appreciation for it, and I far prefer to see it on a girl than Morgan. I just think it's a little dark and sinister for my tastes. I would totally use it on a charactor though.

I just realized now that I like Morgana - I guess I never really thought about it before. I don't mind Morgan on a girl, but I prefer it on a boy and Morgana for girls.I'd be thrilled to see a baby Morgana. :)

It's a beautiful name. I prefer it to the much more overused Morgan, which is much better suited for a boy.

It's been growing on me a lot lately as well. I think it is really lovely with a light and "fluffy" middle name, something more delicate and feminine to balance out its rather dark tendencies. My personal one is Morgana Lily. I think with a middle name like Felicity, Isabel, Grace, Faith, Cecily, Juliette, Camille, Charlotte, etc., it works best.

I like it. Morgan has been popular, but it doesn't feel as sweet or elegant as Morgana, which hits that note of harsh sounds and soft sounds together just wonderfully. I would be pretty happy to see it on a baby girl.
