[Opinions] Cordelia
Wdyto the name Cordelia? Do you like it? Too Shakespeare? Is it usable? What middle names would you pair Cordelia with?Do you like the name Cordelia Persephone? They're my top two girl names right now and if it matters, my last name is one syllable.

Cordelia Violet
Cordelia Iris
Cordelia Amabel
Cordelia Adele
Cordelia Serene
Cordelia May

Love Cordelia. Although, I go to the character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel first and then Shakespeare (not a bad thing). I like the nn's Cordy or Delia.I agree that Cordelia Persephone is a little over the top. What about Cordelia Paige or Cordelia Jane?

Cordelia Jane is up there on my list.

I love Cordelia! It's beautiful! But together with Persephone it becomes a bit...too much, sorry.

Cordelia is lovely and most definitely usable. I like it more and more, and am currently trying to decide whether I like Cordelia or Cornelia the best. Cordelia Persephone sounds awesome. :)

I love it! I think it's totally usable, especially with the amount of nicknames you can choose from- Cora, Cory, Delia, Lia.I think Cordelia Persephone is nice. Maybe a bit much with both together, but it flows well.

I don't mind Cordelia. I'd never use it, but I'd love to meet one. Not too Shakespeare, definitely usable. I also don't mind Persephone, but Cordelia Persephone is way too over-the-top for me. Even with a one syllable last name, I wouldn't do that.

Cordelia isn't a favourite name, but it's fine, and surely nothing wrong with it being Shakesperian..good pedigree!Cordelia Persephone would be a good name, especially given your one syllable last name. (My own has 4, so my kids have shorthish names, me too.)

I like Cordelia, but Cordelia Persephone is too over-the-top with its Mary Sue fanfictiony goodness. I would avoid it.
