[Opinions] Enya
I've been listening to Enya's music lately, and I thought about her name. What do you think of the name Enya? What about the Irish form Eithne?

I'd probably think it was mad cool if it weren't connected to Enya.

I don't mind the sound of Enya or the spelling. And while I normally prefer original spellings whenever possible, Eithne just doesn't look attractive nor do I care for the fact that there are several pronunciations to the name. If I liked the EN-ya pronunciation, I'd keep the spelling simple, Enya.

I don't particularly like or dislike Enya. The sound is nice, though, and the saint story is interesting. But the name's so heavily connected to the musician in my mind that I can't imagine it on a real person. Eithne is nice. If you wanted another Anglicized form, I think Edna or Ena could be interesting.

I wonder about Enia as a possible Anglicized form? Would it even be pronounced the same as Enya?

Personally, I'd assume Enia to have 3 syllables (en-EE-uh or something).

Love it. Eithne is cool too, but I prefer the look of Enya. It has a different feel for me. If I were to rename myself, Enya would be pretty high on the list.
