[Opinions] Triplets BA
A local family had triplet girls recently. They are Philomena, Isabella, & Odilia - all with the same middle name of Thérèse. The first thing that jumped out at me was that their FNs have a combined total of 11 syllables! As much as I like each individual name, I'd probably not use such long names all together. And before I just now looked up Odilia, I thought that Odelia was the original spelling. I was happy to learn otherwise! What do you think of them? Would you avoid long names in sets of multiples? Would you ever use the same middle name for siblings? What would you name triplet girls with the same initials?Mine: Paulina Tamsin
Ida Theophila
Osanne Thérèse

I knew a Philomena once who had No Nickname At All. Which is impressive.Philippa Topsy

The length of the names doesn't bother me, but I wouldn't use the middle name more than once. I think the sibset is great though, so much more interesting than many names these days.Pearl True
Iris Thalia
Opal Tiarella

I don't think they are too long together. I definitely would use long names for multiples if that's what I liked best. Better than super long ones mixed with really short- at least they are consistent.Isabella seems really out of place with the others though.I'd pick:
Paloma Tess
Ottilie Tirzah
Iselin Thea

I actually LOVE that sibset. Gorgeous names! I wouldn't avoid long names... ever. I pretty much only like long names, with a few exceptions of course. My favourite names are usually at least 8 letters and 3 syllables. I would never use the same name for siblings. I love way too many names to recycle just one. That would be so boring. :( If I named triplet girls, using the same initials, I would name them...Paulina Tabitha

I think they are quite lovely together, even though they aren't my style. It's nice to see such a classy set.

The only name I like is Isabella! I think I would have a mix of name lengths, not all super long names. That said, I would just use names that I loved. I would never give them all the same mn either, not individual enough for me. If I had to use the same initials, then my girls would be: Phoebe Tallulah, Ivy Talitha and Opal Tilly

I wouldn't avoid long names, I don't think. Although I would think about how easy/hard it is to say the names together. I'm a bit of an overthinker, so I would also try to find names that are not too difficult to say in different orders. And I would never use the same middle name over again.Philomena Therese - not bad, though I do find Philomena a little bit goofy-feeling
Isabella Therese - I hate Isabella so much. Therese is pretty nice in the middle
Odilia Therese - cool!Plum Theodora
Indigo Tatum
Odell Tamsin

I like Philomena, but Isabella is trendy, and Odilia seems ugly to me.I also like Thérèse, but I think it's weird that they all have the same middle name; I'd prefer combos that allow for more individuality...The collective length of the names doesn't bother me.Maybe:Pascale Tova
