[Opinions] Re: Henriette
I really like Henriette with the French pronunciation (En-ree-ett). But to say it like that I have to think about it and put on a bit of an accent, as I can't do it much justice in my own. And I don't like Hen-ree-ett. I feel like it's missing the a to make Henrietta, whereas En-ree-ett sounds complete. I think it'd be great if I knew everyone would say it the French way, but I doubt the majority of people in the UK or English speaking countries would instinctively say it like that. In this case I think it'd be too much trouble to correct, so personally I'd keep it in the middle. But Henriette (said how I like it) is very beautiful, sophisticated, and elegant; a really great name with some interesting, historical imagery.
