I asked about Erika and now I feel like asking you about your opinion on Monica. I always despised this name despite knowing a few very nice ones. It isn't growing on me as much as Erika but it is a little bit. I used to dislike the -ica/-ika endings strongly but now I have started to like Erika a lot and I am also warming up to Monica.

What are your opinions on Monica? Can you see it making a comeback? Monica or Monika?

Mona is a similar name that gives me a very very different impression. Do you feel the same way? Monica to me is someone who is a bit controlling and organized but with a good heart (kind of like Monica on Friends) but Mona is so mystical. I could imagine a Harry Potter character or a good witch with this name. Opinions on Mona?

Then of course there is the French Monique. It is dated in France but I think it might make a comeback in a few decades. I used to dislike it but it is growing on me too.
