[Opinions] Idora
What do you think of this name? According to a user submission it is a Croatian form of Isidora/Isadora.http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/87410

I'd say ee-DOR-a and like it pretty well.
If it's EE-dora, it's too weird... reminds slightly of the word idiot.
I like Dora pretty well, too, but I like it more as a short form of Eudora or Medora or Isidora or Theodora, than as a full name.

Additional question:Just because he names are so similar; what do you think of just Dora?

I don't especially like it. It feels a bit too sweet, which is odd since I like Norah and love Cora.

I think in a vacuum I would quite like it, though perhaps more as an elegant alternative to Izzy as a nickname. As it is, it feels as though I'm saying Adora in a forced incorrect way.

How is it pronounced? EE-dora? That is nice, imo. Wouldn't like it if it was said with a long "i" sound, though.

Yes, it’s pronounced EE-dorah.
And it’s not the Croatian form of Isadora, but a short form.
