I like it. I don't know anyone named Ezra.

I really like it. It has a pleasant sound, and I like that it contains both a 'z' and an 'r.' I associate it with the Biblical scribe/priest/teacher, the actor Ezra Miller, and the artist Ezra Winter. I know of Ezra Pound, Ezra Cornell (founder of Cornell University), and Ezra Stiles (President of Yale and Co-founder of Brown University) but they aren't my top associations. I've heard of Esdras as a variation, but Ezran is a new one. It isn't as nice as Ezra.

I love the name Ezra, it's a fave of mine. It was one of the names I had on our list with our last pregnancy. No real associations to be honest. Ezran is nothing special, no where near as nice as Ezra.

Ezra's too trendy for me right now, but I like the sound. I've never heard of Ezran; again, I like the sound, but I don't think I'd use it.

Hi !!!Let's start with Ezran.I saw it for the first time in the TV series: 'The Dragon Prince' (2018) a fantasy series where Ezran is a lovely, sweet little Prince with multicultural heritage. The character is nice but not enough to make the name usable.Ezra ...
I dislike it.
The problem is that in Italy the neofascist political party is called 'CasaPound'. As Ezra Pound is the major link with Ezra that I have so the tie with the party is too immediate. It is a very negative link in my opinion. What a pity!

Yeah… that's my biggest problem with Ezra too. I always first think of Ezra Pound and immediately think of Nazis :(Since I really can't get rid of that connotation for myself, it makes me wonder if Ezran is a possible alternative, or if it's too close to Ezra for it to not have that association.

I like both of them. The only problem is they're too short and the only nicknames I can think of (Easy & Ray) are almost as long!

I love Ezra!
And I also like Ezran.
If you like to nickname, it might be hard to nickname these, but I like them anyway.
