[Opinions] Dune
Recently fell in love with Dune for a boy. I think it would make a great middle name and has potential for a funky first even. What combos would you make?I like Cerrus Dune / Erian Dune / Ingo Dune & Dune Jarrah((Side note after saying Dune outloud to myself so much just then I've realised in my lovely Aussie accent June and Dune sound exactly the same lmao))https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/145466

I generally like ooo sounds in names (I love Junius / June / Juni for a boy as well as Dunya / Dunia for a girl, actually), and it's similar conceptually to Dale / Clay / Wade, which are okay, but I don't really like how it reminds me of surfers plus sounds like dude, so my reaction's 'eh, whatever'.Dune Jarrah is interesting.I'll go with
Cyrus Dune
Cassius Dune
Timaeus Dune

Probably better on a girl. Lorna and Bonnie? lol
Seriously, I don't think it's attractive at all. There is this kind of creepy sci-fi book called "Dune" and Stephen King has a more than creepy short story called Duneworld. Also, it sounds a lot like doing. How you doon? And like doom.

This is an interesting one.My first thought is "I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration." etc., etc.. Because I'm a nerd.My second thought is "No. No way. Dune is just not name material. Sure, as a middle name, why not. But not a first name."And lastly... I was thinking... Australia... Australian accents... Dune sounding like June... somehow this name... Dune, I can totally picture it. A little scrappy Australian boy named Dune. It's totally fine. Somehow, because you're Australian, this name is totally appropriate and fine and cool. But I absolutely can't imagine it being a name on an English boy or an American boy. I like it even. But only when I imagine it spoken in an Australian accent with your elongated vowel sounds.Dune Adrian
