[Opinions] Emily and Sophie?
What do you think of Emily and Sophie as siblings? What do you think of Emily Jacqueline Rose and Sophie Elizabeth Maree? Middle names are family names.

I really like both names and your combos are perfect. The only issue is the popularity. I know two sibsets of sisters named Emily and Sophie just in my 90-student school. However, if you don't mind your daughters being called Emily and Sophie B (or whatever their last initial happens to be) throughout their education, go for it. They're good names.*

Very tiredThese names do nothing for me. However, I love using Emily as a middle name, e.g. Oenone Emily, Frances Emily, Gertrude Emily, Constance Emily...

I think there are multiple sets of sisters Emily & Sophie (with Emily most likely being older) in the world today. I think parents who like one name would also like the other. If I read a book or watched a play / movie with these sisters it would make perfect sense.Personally speaking, however, I find the set to be incredibly boring. Way too soft.

Boring, but at least they’re not super trendy or misspelled. The middle names are fine.

A good sister pair, middle names are nice, I especially like Emily Jacqueline, Sophie Elizabeth flows well it is just more predictable. I agree with other posters that these names are fairly common if not trending out. BUT, they are classic names that will never be totally out and they are so much better than the super trendy -lee/-lynn and surnames for girls.

BoringThere's nothing essentially wrong with these names as siblings (the styles go, etc) but they're certainly not noteworthy or memorable.

I think they're perfectly nice and at one time would have been remarkably nice. Now, however, the pair is a bit bland. I'd rather met an Emily and Sophie than a Harper and Avery etc any day of the week, though! The middle names you have don't inspire me.

They would have been exciting, 20 years ago. Now they are middle-of-the-road, but still good. Mns are fine.

Sweet but very boring. Nothing wrong with either name, but nothing amazing either.

I think they're adequate together. I'm not fond of Emily but I can see the appeal. The spelling 'Maree' kind of stands out though.

I know that most people prefer Maree spelled Marie but it's my sisters middle name and I want to honour her.

I've met about five or six pairs of girls with those exact names. They go together fine, even if the are a bit boring.Jacqueline helps bring Emily to life, it's an unexpected middle. All the full names work fine.
