Today I was watching something and saw a girl named Christian. This isn’t very surprising, but I wanted to know what do you guys think of the name Christian for a girl? Would you prefer it’s variants Christina or Christine?

It's one of those abbreviated Latin names that can pass as ambiguous genderwise (vs Christianus / Christiana), like Julian, Vivian, etc.
I don't like Christian for either gender. It's so unsubtle but trying not to be, I'd rather people use Christmas...mainly because I just don't like wordy group identifiers as FNs. I like Christiana and Kristen more than Christina and Christine. And I would prefer Christobel or Christopher to any of those.

One of my best friends in high school was Chris, whose real name was Christian. Unless her very feminine middle name was also made known in whatever someone was reading (like a class roster), people always assumed she was a boy, which annoyed her even though she played it off. She hated her name. Apparently, her parents didn't actually come up with her first name, but rather her godmother did; so Chris considered that extra ammo in hating her name.
In all honesty I wouldn't consider any Chris- name for my child, as "Chris" truly must me the most common name I've ever encountered in my life (even more than "Alex," which really says something); but if we're talking feminine names then I think my stepsister's name, Christiana, takes the cake. (She dislikes her name, though, and goes by Christi.)

I prefer Christiane with the German pronunciation in general. One of my family members is a Christine and my sister is an Ann- name so I have considered Christiana as an honor name in times past. The ol' two birds and one stone if you will. Both Christiane and Christiana are classics in my mind.

Why use Christian for a girl when there are perfectly good female variants right there?

Christian was originally strictly feminine. It was a popular girls names in the Middle Ages.

Christian was extremely popular for girls in the Middle Ages, just like Julian. It started out as a girls name.
I find it so boring and overused that I can't like it for anyone.
I think Christina is the best out of the three.

Christiane is the perfectly lovely feminine version of the name. There are a couple of other variants as well. No idea why the parents would feel the need to go masculine.

I wouldn't use it anyway, not being Christian and not wishing to paint my kids into an ideological corner; but if I were to use a form of Christian for a girl, it would be (strictly mn only!) Christiana, after two of my great-grandmothers.
