Long time favorite of mine, it got pushed off my Top 10 but it’s hovering just below. I’ve loved it for years. I’ve always struggled finding a middle name I like for it, it’s surprisingly challenging.Sybil Frances, Sybil Ivy, Sybil Juliet & Sybil Violet are ones that I’ve played with. From yours I like Sybil Florence the best.

I don’t really like it. Sounds like it sound be the name of an STD.Sybil Julia is pretty though.

Sybil still needs to stay on the back burner at least another 15 years. It's still old lady sounding because there are still living old people with it. Plus the sound is just unappealing, like a kid with a lisp. I'm sorry.

I like it. The name has always felt a little stern and almost cold. I must have an unconscious association that gives it that feel. But hearing it on the right person would likely warm it up for me. Either spelling is OK.

I love it but I'd spell it Sibyl.Sibyl Julia all the way.Alexandra is hideous to me, Ruth sounds unattractive, Fern is too delicate next to Sibyl and Florence is so overrated.

Hi!!!I prefer Sibyl.
I saw all Downton Abbey TV series too!I love the character Sybil Crawley but I prefer the traditional form.I like:
Sibyl Fern
Sibyl Alexandra

Sybil Florence is a combo that seems very fashion-forward (while also evoking Edwardian aesthetics). I have a feeing that Florence will rise in popularity.I love Sybil Fern though, it's adorable. I also love the spelling Sybil, it seems more magical than Sibyl. And I like the idea of a Sybil "Billie" (rather than...Sibbie? Sib? What would you call a Sibyl for short). Sybil Julia is really lovely too.

Interesting name... Reminds me slightly of Sylvia.
I've always thought that Sybil is more popular (at least according to the polls), even though Sibyl is an original form.
I like Sybil Florence and Sybil Alexandra!

Sybil's one of my favourites! I'll admit that the Downton Abbey character added a good deal of feisty determination to the name, that really made me love it. I think it's a cool choice and due a (very small) revival. I love Sybil Florence and Sybil Alexandra from your list.

My favorite combos are Sybil Fern and Sybil Julia.
This spelling is not my favorite, although it is common and widely used. It's how Sybil Crawley spelled her name on Downton Abbey.
Other combos suggestions:
Sybil Fleur
Sybil Rose
Sybil Morwenna
Sybil Valencia
Sybil Everly
Sybil Juliette
Sybil Melanie

I prefer the Sibyl spelling too. Sybil reminds me too much of the word syllable.

I prefer the traditional Sibyl spelling, it looks much prettier.
