How do you feel about Maris? Would you prefer Mavis or the more popular Mary?

I like Maris, Mary is okay, and I dislike Mavis.

I like Maris, it’s pretty. I like Mavis & Mary too, but I prefer Maris.

I can't get over the 'mare' part, it sounds dehumanizing.

Definitely prefer Mavis.
