[Opinions] Serena, Ravenna, Vanessa
These names are a little bit Easy for my usual style but I kinda like them.Serena is my latest favorite way of honoring my grandma, Rena, who was named after an Orena. (I've played with Irene, Irina, and Irena, none of which quite satisfy me.) I like my grandma's name but mostly because it's hers; stylistically it is a dated diminutive that evokes kidneys and I find it hard to commit to as a full name. Plus I know she would consider it honoring to have a variation on her name. Another option is Renata, but that's never really grabbed me TBH.Serena seems a little cheesy, but I like the meaning and honestly I don't really mind it.Ravenna was in my dream several nights ago and ever since then I've been kinda digging it.Vanessa we talked about here earlier and everyone liked it which was so cute.So those are my triplet names today. Here are some combos...Serena Persephone Rose
Ravenna Sigrid Josephine
Vanessa Claire Astrid

I really like all three, especially together.Ravenna Sigrid is beautiful. Perhaps Serena could also have a Scandinavian name to match Astrid and Sigrid?Serena Lois Ingrid
Serena Freya Rose
Serena Agneta Sofia? Idk.

I'm not really into Serena or Vanessa, but Ravenna has been an old fav..
I always loved the hypothetical sister set,
Verona and Ravenna Ravenna Sigrid Josephine has a perfect amount of mystery and beauty, maybe not the perfect flow, but you can't have everything.Serena Persephone Rose has a lovely flow.
Vanessa Claire Astrid doesn't do anything for me

Yes I thought about throwing Verona into the mix. So fun! But a little on-the-nose...

Are you into Verena at all?

Serena is very pretty, it sounds like what it means. (Meaning isn't all that far off from Irene anyway.) I like Irene too but Serena is more youthful and stylish.Ravenna I don't like much; it has a pretty sound but it's so tied to to the Disney villain because, well, who else is named Ravenna that anyone knows of?Vanessa is cool. It's very glamorous but also totally familiar, probably everyone has met at least one Vanessa. They do sound like they could be triplet names.Don't like Renata, the not sound isn't very attractive.Renee or Reyna/Rayna might also be an option.

I would argue not many people even remember Ravenna from Snow White and the Huntsman. I'm a moderate Disney fan myself and I had to Google which villian Ravenna even was. Honestly the one thing I even remember about that movie is that it had Lannister incest and she bathed in milk. XD so nay I'd argue it's not a big deal. It was a movie that came and went.Edit: also apparently Snow White and the Huntsman was a Universal film not Disney. Not a big deal I'm just throwing that out there because I saw it on the wiki page.

Serena has kind of a sporty vibe to me because Serena Williams is the only person I associate it with. Ravenna mainly reminds me of old churches and ravines.I like that Vanessa is a genus of butterflies.I also like Renata.Nice combos.

It occurred to me because my grandma is Rena Williams, and googling her always comes up with Serena's stuff. :P

Serena is one of my newest favorites as of only this year, which is surprising because most of my favorites are long time flames. But tbh I could totally see myself considering it for daughter #2 or #3 if 2 or 3 daughters were had. Rena and Rini are both cute NNs I think. Serena Persephone Rose is just the whole package. I love Ravenna, it's very dark and witchy but also energized and vibrant.I've never particularly been into Sigid myself idky because I love Astrid and Ingrid immensely, and the 3 ordinarily feel like spiritual sisters so I'm not quit sure what puts me off to it. I'm not really for or against Josephine it's just not one of my favorites of the standard English classics. Claire is a long time favorite for me in terms of middle names. I'm not hugely into Vanessa and she feels so simple and out of the scheme next to vivacious Serena and Ravenna. Serena and Ravenna feel like fun, popular girls who joined the varsity team and Vanessa makes me think of an introvert just quietly practicing at her piano scales while the other kids play outside. That's not a bad thing obviously but the impressions I get are vastly different.I second Lorena btw but not necessarily over Serena
