I knew a lovely girl named Katia not too long ago. It’s a cute and pretty name. Spunky and it has some flair; but it’s still respectable and nice. I like it more than Katie.

I love Katia. I like it as a stand alone name and as a nickname for Katerina, Ekaterina, etc.

As someone who speaks a Slavic language I really dislike how Katia is pronounced in an American accent. Other than that it's a pretty name, just a little bland.
