Don't like it Kill Ian

This is the worst spelling. Kilian and Cillian are ok.
I feel it's similar to Kirk, Kelly, Kellan, Julian, Elian, and Cassian.I don't personally know anyone named it. The only famous Cillian (or any spelling) that comes to mind is Cillian Murphy who starred in a couple of my favorite movies. Kili as a NN would remind me of The Hobbit or seems like Keely and Gili.

It's handsome, and I like the meaning, but I strongly prefer Cillian. Killian looks violent and crass.

I can't get past the "kill" at the beginning.

I like it but prefer Kilian to avoid murder (kill Ian)

There are two sounds in the name I do not like: "kill" and the pattern of sounds heard in Gideon, Vivian, and Gillian. The only name I like from that sound family is Lillian.

I like it. It's a cool name, original, but not too weird either. I had a student named Kilian (spelled with on L) last semester. Personally, I'd spell it Kylian (like Kylian Mbappé). In French, there is no association with the word ''kill'', it would never cross my mind.

I've always liked it in a distant way.
