Well, when I hear Cayden (Caden), I think of a boy.
When I hear Cayden with a Y, I'm inclined to think of illiteracy.
When I hear Cayden Michelle, I think of another boy's name hijacked for girls (not like adding a Y makes it more feminine anyway).Edit for typo
