New Baby Archibald
A friend that I worked with his wife just had a baby boy.ArchibaldI've always toyed with using this name myself, it was my great-grandfathers name and two of my great uncles (Scottish and Irish sides of the family).
I love Archie, but I don't know if i'd ever actually call him Archibald, just Archie and with the popularity of Archie it makes me not want to use it!So, what do you think of Archibald and does if fit with our favorites: Theodore, Daphne, Ignatius and Winifred

Archibald kinda fits in with those other names you've mentioned, as they're old-fashioned (with the probable exception of Daphne)

HOORAY! I adore Archibald! My grandfather was named Arnold Archibald "Archie."I think Archibald complements your favorites quite nicely. Winifred is one of my favorite names!

I love Archibald nn Archie.I think Archibald nn Archie goes perfectly with Theodore, Daphne, Ignatius, and Winifred.Archie on its own is very common in England but it's only at #47 in Australia. I don't think that at #47 that it is too common.I love the naming style of you and your husband. They are beautiful classic names that aren't too common. My favorite genre of names are mystical / mythological sounding names. My second favorite are nature names. My third favorite are classic names, but I prefer classic names that aren't too common. I love it when there are names like Hazel which are a mixture of nature and classic, or names like Miranda which are a mixture of mystical sounding and classic.

I love it and I think it goes really well with your other favourites. Theodore and Archibald in particular would make a very handsome pair. I love Archie, but it's too nicknamey on it's own, so I would definitely use Archibald as a full name.

And it fits perfectly with your favorites...

That is adorable!! They can call him Archie. :) Archibald definitely fits in with Theodore, Ignatius and Winifred, I think, but not so much Daphne, which sort of seems like the odd duck in that set.

Archie is adorable! It wants a full name to go with it, though, and though Archibald is kind of long and unwieldy, I think it's better than Archer or uh... I don't know... Archimedes? LOL. Anyway, I think Archibald fits in perfectly with the other names you mentioned.

I think it's adorable and it fits marvellously with your favourites. Who knows, you might get a really serious, dignified little boy who would suit being the full thing sometimes, but if not, Archie is great.
