Re: Opinions on my current crushes?
Adelaide: I love this name. Very pretty. For nn's I'd use Ada and Lady, though.Ariadne: Gorgeous as well. NN Ari or Aria. I have to stop myself from hearing "are ya rodney?" which stops me from using it.Louisa: Very pretty. I feel like it's a very stiff lace type of name, but as if that stiff lace dress were shoved in a fiery redhead with too many opinions. In a cool way. :) Nn Lou.Nicoletta: I'm not a real fan of -etta names and I severely dislike Nicole.Benjamin: Fantastic. Strong, stately, but cool. A buttoned shirt with an easy smile. lol I don't know where I'm getting these images.Cassian: It's okay. Not bad but it doesn't make me love it. For Cass I prefer Cassander, but I think that's got a very different feel to it.Gideon: Great, love it. Tattoo sleeves and long hair. Nico: Yes, another good one.Peregrine: NMSAA, especially those nn's.
Yes, you're over thinking it. If you ended up pregnant and you were seriously considering Louisa, I'd recommend just asking your dad how he feels about it. If he's cool and you're cool, it doesn't matter. It's a very small issue that has an easy fix. :)It is definitely not "wrong" of you to use a name you love, despite its (over? lol) use in your family. I know an Italian family who is obsessed with the names Anthony and Antonella--seriously, those are the *only* names the family uses. And the Antonella and Anthony that are close to my age? They're going to use the names, too! Think of it as family tradition! lol

Thanks for your input! I love the nn Ada for Adelaide! So sweet. I really like Cassander too but it is more of a GP for me. I couldn't see myself actually using it. Yes, Nicholas is way overused in my family. We make the joke in my big fat Greek family: "This is my cousin Nick, this is my other cousin Nick. Little Nick, Uncle Nick. And there's Nicole." But hey, tradition is important. Thanks again!

You're welcome! :) I know Cassander is very close to Cassandra, which puts some people off; especially since Cassandra is in more places than Cassander.
