Dinah: Looks pretty, doesn't really sound great. I prefer Diana.
Maureen: I don't like. It sounds like Maroon.
Delia: Very pretty. I like this name.
Charity: Enh. I'm okay with several virtue names. This is not one of them.
Paula: I don't like it. It has a very ugly sound to me.
Alma: Same with this one.Warren: A rat warren.
Murray: Is the name of a lake near here. No.
Sterling: I actually like this. Possibly a middle name.
Asa: I don't know why, but I do not like this name.

Dinah - frowzy
Maureen - nice. Seems very Irish now, odd because it didn't formerly seem that way to me
Delia - nice
Charity - ick
Paula - dated, but okay
Alma - eh. Kinda starchy to me.Warren - makes me think of burrowing animals and weaselly guys
Murray - too surnamey and doggy for me
Sterling - a little eccentric, in a cool way. It's sorta like Darius.
Asa - so greasy. hate

The only one I can say I like is Sterling, and only for a middle name. Maureen is just okay but seems downbeat. The rest are dismal and old.

Dinah - "Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah" not an awesome association. The name itself is okay. I would like it better as a nickname as it feels a bit informal.Delia - like this one. I was sad when my husband vetoed it. Alma - so soft and sweet. I knew an Alma who was just kind and caring and genuine and all things wonderful.Murray is great. It needs a comeback.Sterling was one of my top contenders for son #2, but no amount of my obsessing over it would get my husband on board. I still like it though.

Dinah - Refreshing old biblical name. I wouldn't mind seeing this on a young girl.
Maureen - Ugly sound and dated.
Delia - Same as Maureen.
Charity - Absolutely beautiful in an understated way.
Paula - It's pretty. Saying it out loud it has a lovely sound. Polly would make a cute nn though it's not as nice as Paula.
Alma - Also lovely and underused.Warren - Ugly old man name.
Murray - Same as Warren. Those are the kinds of names characters from The Far Side had.
Sterling - Very classy and unique.
Asa - Rather biblical trendy but it's okay as I like that trend.

Dinah: Cat from "Alice In Wonderland". Cat from "Garfield's Nine Lives". Very cat-like to me.
Maureen: I actually kind of like this one. I would call her Mo.
Delia:...Fischer. "My So-Called Life". Big, curly hair and perky demeanor. Bright, plucky sort of name.
Charity: I love Charity. It's so red and vibrant and lively to me.
Paula: Charming, but not charming enough for me to take much notice.
Alma:...Schindler. I dig it.Warren: Hmm...I like it, I guess. I don't know, I'm neutral.
Murray: I was just thinking about this name! I like it. Don't have much more to add than that.
Sterling:...Cooper, Draper, Pryce. Or Archer. Man, I'm thinking about TV a lot today.
Asa: One of my favorite male names, but I haven't thought of it for a while. Thanks for reminding me.
