Mary Charles sounds like a nun. And Collier is a depressing occupation name, especially for a girl, and an unlovely ln.Elizabeth and Caroline are lovely, and I like Maggie though not Magnolia.

Mary Charles and Collier are just weird, especially Collier. It's a surname in my family and a collier is someone who works down a coal mine. Not suitable as a name for a child, in my humble opinion, especially not a girl.Jacob, Elizabeth and Caroline are fine. Nothing unusual and they go together, although as I've said before, it's unusual for me to see Caroline on a child. I don't think I know any younger than 30.Magnolia I like. It's a shame to shorten it to Maggie but not that bad. Emmett I don't like. It reminds me of the weedy neighbour in Keeping Up Appearances. I also think in Cornwall ants are referred to as emmetts so I think of that. Georgia is nice and sophisticated. Gigi is ok. Personally, if I had a Georgia I'd use Georgie as a nickname, I hadn't thought of Gigi.

Ha! I didn't know that about collier, the coal thing. I find it hilarious as this family is most definitely putting on airs.Copying the southern upperclass is like the thing to do right now among white southern yuppies, and it's so freaking annoying. But sadly it gives me a bit of glee to imagine their reactions to a real life British person saying their choices are weird.

Mary Charles - First, it's hard for me to get passed the Little House on the Prairie connections. Second, Charles is just so wrong on a girl; making it a double name with Mary does not help. Mary Charlotte would've been sweet. Ahhh, what could have been.Collier - Collier I could respect as middle name, if it were her mother's maiden name. But as a first name I find it pretentious sounding and harsh. Dislike no matter what gender it's used for.Jacob - Not very exciting, but I don't think this name will ever completely lose it's charm for me. Only some of it.Elizabeth - Timeless. Lovely, especially as a first name.Caroline - Absolutely gorgeous.Magnolia - I like Magnolia in theory, though I'm not sure how I'd really feel if I met one in real life. Could be outstanding, could be outlandish; I suppose the bearer would have to make it or break it for me. Maggie is sweet, though I've always preferred Aggie.Emmet - I like it on fictional characters (only exposure to the names thus far), but I for some reason cannot wrap my head around it being used on a real child.Georgia "Gigi" - Cute. Always thought Georgia was beautiful and sophisticated, while Gigi is adorable and friendly. Wonderful balance between given name and nickname.

I appreciate the sibset of Magnolia, Emmett, and Georgia, and I find Collier quite dashing.

Mary Charles - Oof, this name is awful. I don;t like Mary paired with other names anyway since it's so cutesy but its being matched with a male name is even worse. It's trying too hard to be different.
Collier - I really like this. Sounds sophisticated.Jacob - Bland but acceptable.
Elizabeth - Must be the boringest name ever.
Caroline - Very attractive.Magnolia "Maggie" - Magnolis strikes me as bing slightly silly but Maggie is cute.
Emmett - Ugh. I've never liked this name but I can't figure out why.
Georgia "Gig" - Both names are nice. Gigi especially is adorable.

Mary charles: Mary is fine though plain and Charles is a males.
Mary Charlotte is more suitable for a girl
Collier: sounds more of a disease like colleric, colleria or something. Very harsh
Jacob/elizabeth/caroline: very decent and respectable
Mangolia: silly, cant take serious
Emmett/georgia: not my most favorite but can respect them
