Ha! I didn't know that about collier, the coal thing. I find it hilarious as this family is most definitely putting on airs.
Copying the southern upperclass is like the thing to do right now among white southern yuppies, and it's so freaking annoying. But sadly it gives me a bit of glee to imagine their reactions to a real life British person saying their choices are weird.
