I can't really say I HATE Isabel/Isabella, not in the same way I hate Emma or Harper, but I don't see much appeal there at all. Isabel has a certain minimum level of attractiveness to me, but only because of its faint Spanish flavor. I don't like Belle or Bella names in general; the only one I can say I find cute is Annabelle, and even that one is only cute the way a Victorian-dressed porcelain baby doll is.
But Isabella is fussy and annoying; like I said once before it's like a big, overstuffed couch your grandmother leaves you and you put it in your living room because you have nice memories of sitting on Grandma's couch with her, but the couch is so fat and ruffly and overdone it is like a pink elephant squatting in your house, completely at odds with every other piece of furniture you won no matter what kind of furniture you have. And after a week you can't stand the sight of it and start planning to get rid of the ugly thing before you have to start throwing doilies all over your tables and buying up a lot of glass figurines to sit on the doilies, and finally after nobody wants to buy it even to reupholster it you drag it out to the curb on Bulk Waste Pickup night and pray to every god you can think of that it won't still be sitting there when you get up next morning.
Yeah, that's Isabella.
