Favourite girls' names:
Sumayya (pretty)
Ruqayya (I think this looks rather cool)
Najwa (love)
Marwa (ditto)
Rayhana
(also Zayna / Zaynab - pretty)
Least fave girls' names:
Joanna (dull)
Aliyah (I just don't get the appeal, no offense intended)
Jade (one of my least favourite names, but tons of people like it)
Veronika (blah)
Fatima
(and Yasmin, for personal reasons. Every Yasmin I've ever known has been poison. I don't care for the name, either)
Fave boys' names:
Nicholas (wonderful!)
Elias
Jason
Felix
Leonidas (very cool)
Ali is also quite nice.
Least favourite:
Abdullah
Bilal / Boutros... especially Boutros. I think that might be one of my least favorite names.
Hassan
Fahd
Jeremiah
Tawfiq
Tewodros (if English-speaking opinions really matter, maybe Theodore or a variant, or something like Thaddeus might be better? It doesn't work well in English, unfortunately)
