I think it's beautiful and also cute for a girl. It's warm and welcoming but not overly twee. It's like a softer Vesta or more exotic Esther. Yes. It is good. Not keen on it for a boy since it has a very strong "mothering" sort of image for me.

I guess the Des is very masculine to me. I quite like boys names that end in a (like Arda, Aruna, Hosea, Ira, Chanda Judah, Luca, etc), just because they are not common. This seems truly unisex to me... but I guess I lean towards boy still.
