Re: FINAL Names
I prefer Millie as a nickname, maybe for Emily? Amy and Emily would be quite sweet together. Anna and Rose are both lovely, but I do prefer them without the hyphen. Thomas is great, and I like John and David a lot too. I personally would also prefer them without the hyphen (I know hyphenated names are quite popular in the UK at the moment though).

I love the name Emily as that's what Millie is after, I'd just be concerned that Amy & Emily would get confused together. Hyphens have been popular in the UK for a while since the 90s.

Re: Amy and Emily, my nieces are Aimee and Emily. They're sisters and it's no big deal. I'll admit that to my immediate family (we live in a different city), we do trip over the names a bit, but again, it's not that important since we don't see each other too often.Have you considered Emilia, nn Millie? It would be easier (imo) to say with Amy yet you'd still be able to arrive at the nn your bf likes.

Amy goes by Amy-Lou or Amy Lou-Lou (if you call her Amy most of the time She says no I'm Amy Lou-Lou or I'm Amy-Louise) most of the time so Amy-Lou and Millie wouldn't be too bad. I'm not sure if he'd go for it I had it on my list with Amy and I got what's that name. When I told him it was a variation of Amelia he said why don't you just spell it Amelia if that's what it's supposed to be Emilia looks weird.
