Naming Clydesdales
What would you name a Clydesdale team? I just bought my best friend this really cool antique covered wagon for Christmas with two Clydesdales. We have a lot of imagination, and we both love horses, so I was thinking of what I would name a real team of Clydesdales. I love the names Theia and Ayla, but I don't think those fit a huge animal like a Clydesdale.

I love those ideas. I adore Tiberius! What about Titus and Tiberius for a male team? As for lady Clydesdales, I'm still thinking. Andromeda, for one maybe? They need BIG names, and some of the feminine names I love seem so tiny.
I think you are right - bulky animals need heavy names (unless you are going for slight irony).
Males would get something cumbersome like Adalbert or Tiberius, or even something blunt like Garth, Boyce or Brutus. I might prefer something totally unexpected, like Stuart or Dwayne.
For a female... I do like Agatha a lot, but I think something over-the-top like Evangelina or Joliette would be so frilly it would counteract the animal's size. That said, I personally would use something like Doris and Anita.

If the (hypothetical) Clydesdales are female, then I would recommend some heavy names with either 'd' or 'g' sounds, like "Astrid," "Gertrude," etc.
