I'm sure that in 1985 plutonium is available in every corner drug store, but in 1955 it's a little hard to come by!

Marcie. I like it. I remember liking it as a kid watching the Peanuts. As an adult it feels slightly nicknamish to me, but not overly so.
Marcie Ramona is just really strong to me.
Marcie Emmeline is very feminine, oldfashioned.
I love Marcie Blythe, as well.
In general, not a name I'd use myself, but I'd much rather hear a child named Marcie than a lot of overused names (Lily, etc.)

I love Marcie! I've liked it since I was very young. In the book The Silver Donkey by Sonya Hartnett, one of the main characters is called Marcie, short for Marcelle.
I love Marcie Elowen, Marcie Isobel, Marcie Ramona and Marcie Violet.

I'm neutral, sound-wise, and visually, would prefer the Marcy spelling. There's nothing wrong with it, no negative associations, but I'm not personally drawn to it. Of your combos, I best like Marcie Primrose and Marcie Violet for feel and flow and because they provide a strong image/association; I don't really get anything specific from Marcie alone.
